Defender praises colleague

Dundee United defender Andrew Robertson continues to receive the plaudits after a memorable first season with the club.

The nineteen-year-old left-back was named PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year on Sunday night, having also recently received his first senior international cap following his summer arrival from Queen's Park.

"Andy's got a good attitude and he doesn't let things go to his head. He's had a lot of attention and there was quite a bit of transfer speculation," fellow defender Sean Dillon told the Dundee Courier. "But it hasn't fazed him. The lads in our dressing-room wouldn't let that happen anyway.

"It helps there's a few of them all about the same age and they get on really well," he added. "They like a laugh and a joke with each other and so do the rest of us. But when it comes to the work they're serious and Andy's the same."
