Time running out
On loan Newcastle United defender Curtis Good is running out of time to be fit for Dundee United's Scottish Cup final meeting with St Johnstone on 17th May.
The 21-year-old centre-back was forced to return to his parent club for treatment after hurting his hip whilst on international duty with Australia last month.
Good has since rejoined the Taysiders but was then sent by his club for another scan after complaining of still not feeling fully recovered.
"Time is running out, obviously," manager Jackie McNamara told the Dundee Courier. "The scan showed a little bit of bleeding, although he's pain free. So it will just be a case of seeing how he gets on. But fitness would be a problem and it would be a big ask for him."
Meanwhile, the Tangerines are being linked with highly-rated Celtic youngster Denny Johnstone, 19, who is out-of-contract at the end of the season. He has been offered a new deal by the Hoops but is understood to prefer a switch to Tannadice.
