Tangerines on their travels

Tangerines on their travels

Dundee United are back on their travels with a visit to Inverness Caledonian Thistle this weekend.

The visitors have an unchanged squad with teenage duo Ryan Gauld and John Souttar both chasing recalls after being rested for the 5-1 victory over Motherwell.

Still restricted to the sidelines though are on loan Newcastle United centre-back Curtis Good and fellow defender Calum Butcher.

"Everyone is talking about the Cup final, which is what you would expect," manager Jackie McNamara told BBC Scotland. "It's understandably a big game, but there's still a bit of football to be played between now and then.

"The boys showed last week when we beat Motherwell 5-1 that they were totally focused," he added. "That's the way you have to be in football, focusing on the next game and the rest will take care of itself."

Home skipper Richie Foran is still out following knee surgery while winger Marley Watkins has overcome flu. David Raven and James Vincent have also returned to training.
