'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Seize the day!

Dundee United boss Jackie McNamara has instructed his players to really seize their Scottish Cup final opportunity.

McNamara wants his charges to create another successful chapter in the club's history by accounting for neighbours St Johnstone at Celtic Park.

"That's what it's about, to win things," he told BBC Scotland. "As a footballer, that's what you want to be remembered for. I'm always confident in the players. I know what they're capable of doing.

"The lads have done fantastic this season with their work-rate and everything else they've put in," McNamara added. "Every time I speak about them, I speak about what they're good at, because I see them every day."
