Tangerines target teenager

Dundee United are leading the race for Queen's Park midfielder Blair Spittal.

The Tangerines have moved in front of their city neighbours Dundee and already entered negotiations over likely compensation to the League Two outfit.

However, the eighteen-year-old has also alerted interest from Partick Thistle, Kilmarnock, Rotherham, United, Coventry City and West Bromwich Albion, just eighteen months after making his senior debut.

Last summer United recruited his Spiders team-mate Andrew Robertson, who has since gone on to represent his country at full international level.
