Tangerines want record goalscorer

Dundee United are interested in taking Kilmarnock striker Kris Boyd to Tannadice, according to reports.

The 30-year-old former Scotland international is out-of-contract at Rugby Park this summer after netting 22 times last season.

Boyd has already scored more goals than anybody else in the Scottish Premier League and played a major part in helping the Ayrshire club avoid relegation.

He only returned to Kilmarnock fifteen months ago following earlier spells with Rangers, Middlesbrough, Nottingham Forest, Eskisehirspor and Portland Timbers, and hasn't ruled out extending his career in Scotland.
