'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Midfielder on the move

Former Dundee United midfielder Morgaro Gomis has become Hearts' first signing since exiting administration.

The 28-year-old Frenchman arrives on a three-year deal after managing only a handful of starts in his second spell for United last season.

"Morgaro has got a lot of experience and is a good player," head coach Robbie Neilson told Hearts' official website. "He's got a great attitude and a great work-rate.

"His mentality for coming in and doing things properly is what we need from the older players," he added. "They need to set an example, and he certainly does that."
