Newcomer thrilled by move

Newcomer thrilled by move

Newcomer Callum Morris is particularly excited by his move into the Scottish Premiership with Dundee United.

The 24-year-old centre-back made 37 appearances for Dunfermline Athletic last season but arrives on a two-year deal at Tannadice.

"After speaking to the manager I was set on joining United," Morris told the Dundee Courier. "This is a great club which showed last season that it is capable of producing one of the best teams in Scotland and I want to play my part in improving them further.

"Dunfermline were great for my career and I now want to continue my progress, and coming to Tannadice is a great move for me," he added. "There are many talented footballers here and I am looking forward to playing alongside them. I want to step up and test myself at a higher level and it was a no-brainer really."
