No need to sell

No need to sell

Dundee United chairman Stephen Thompson insists his club won't be forced into selling any of their young stars.

It follows Scottish international left-back Andrew Robertson being the subject of an unsuccessful £1m-plus bid from English Premier League West Bromwich Albion.

"What I would stress to our supporters is that we are in no rush to sell any player," Thompson told the Dundee Courier. "We are in a good position as a club in that regard.

"After the financial restructuring we went through recently, we don`t have to move anyone on this summer," he added. "However, if someone comes in with a bid that is too good to refuse we would make a decision we felt was best for United."
