Tangerines miss target
Dundee United target Kris Boyd has rejoined former club Rangers on a one-year contract.
The 30-year-old record SPL goalscorer arrives from Kilmarnock having scored more than a century of goals for Rangers in his previous spell.
Boyd netted 22 times for Kilmarnock last season but declined on the offer of a new contract with the Ayrshire club.
Aberdeen were also keen on acquiring his services but Boyd instead joins forces with striker Kenny Miller following his recent return to Ibrox.
