We should have won - McNamara

Manager Jackie McNamara thought his side were a little "rusty" in attack following the scoreless draw with Athlone Town.

Striker Brian Graham was the chief culprit when missing a number of opportunities during their opening pre-season game.

"We should have scored a number of goals but it was still a good exercise," McNamara admitted to the Dundee Courier. "We were a wee bit rusty in the last third after creating a few one-on-ones with the goalkeeper.

"Big Brian could have had four or five [goals] at least," he added. "Overall, I was really impressed with quite a few things."
