'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Keen to impress

Dundee United trialist Jiri Lenko continues to try and earn a regular deal at Tannadice.

The 29-year-old Czech left-back is currently away with the Tangerines in the Republic of Ireland and was expected to again feature against Bohemians in Dublin.

That follows a half-hour appearance in opposition to Athlone Town earlier this week - and manager Jackie McNamara could make a final decision on his future this weekend.

"I think I would enjoy being in Scotland and being part of a club like Dundee United," Lenko told the Dundee Courier. "There is an important match on Saturday for me against Bohemians in Dublin so I hope to play well."
