Striker joy at equaliser

Striker joy at equaliser

Dundee United striker Jordan Moore has described his joy at scoring a late equaliser at Forfar Athletic.

The 20-year-old received surgery to remove melanoma skin cancer in the New Year and is currently making his comeback.

He celebrated his return by coming off the bench and netting an emotional 88th minute leveller in a 2-2 draw at Station Park.

"It's almost impossible to describe," he told the Dundee Courier. "After what I've been through, to get that goal means so much to me because everyone knows what I've been through.

"You could tell by the reaction of my team-mates what it meant to them as well. I think 'Soapy' [John Souttar] actually ran half the length of the pitch to congratulate me!," Moore continued. "My team-mates are my friends. They've always been behind me and I'll always appreciate their support."
