Tangerines striker targeted

Turkish club Fenerbahce are considering an approach for Dundee United striker Nadir Ciftci.

The Istanbul club are believed to be ready to make a one-million-euro offer for the 22-year-old former Portsmouth hit-man.

However, that appears certain to be turned down by United, whose own valuation will be much higher on a player who scored seventeen goals last season.

Manager Jackie McNamara has already lost key talents like Ryan Gauld and Andrew Robertson and certainly won't want to witness any further departures.
