'If It's Football, It's Vital'

On the move

Dundee United midfielder Michael Gardyne is probably going to have to look elsewhere for regular football.

The 28-year-old spent last season on loan to Kilmarnock and may well have to go out on loan again or move permanently with opportunities continuing to be limited at Tannadice.

"We've spoken to Michael to see what's best for him moving forward," manager Jackie McNamara told the Dundee Courier. "At this stage in his career, I think he wants to play football.

"We're very strong in his position which is midfield so we've got to see what's best for him."
