Blow for United

Dundee United have suffered a blow following their weekend friendly defeat at Leeds United.

Skipper Sean Dillon was forced off after a clash of heads and could be out of action with a fractured cheekbone for as long as six weeks.

"Obviously, we are disappointed with the injury to Sean," manager Jackie McNamara told the Dundee Courier. "He has a fractured cheekbone which is a bit of a nightmare for us.

"To be fair it was a complete accident," he added. "The two of them went for the ball and collided, it was just unfortunate."
