Dundee United are considering approaching FIFA following Hull City's apparent failure to meet payment on the recent Andrew Robertson transfer.

The 20-year-old Scottish international left-back departed the Tangerines in favour of a 2.85m move to the KC Stadium last month.

The first instalment on that deal was due last Friday but latest indications are that it has not yet been met. A second payment is scheduled for next summer.

The Tannadice club are unhappy that despite numerous assurances of payment, nothing has yet materialised. At the same time the English club have been trying to tie-up a deal for Blackburn Rovers striker Jordan Rhodes.

The Scottish Football Association have therefore been involved in talks with their counterparts in England, but without success in resolving the issue.
