Tangerines target Paisley

Dundee United face a side currently looking for their first points of the season as they visit St Mirren this weekend.

Midfielder Stuart Armstrong [ankle] is still a casualty for the visitors and misses out alongside the defensive trio of Sean Dillon [fractured cheekbone], Mark Wilson [broken foot] and John Souttar [ankle].

"St Mirren is never an easy game and this one will be no different," manager Jackie McNamara told BBC Scotland. "They will be looking to get the three points, like ourselves, so it will make for a tough match.

"They beat Dunfermline in the cup during the week, so that will obviously help confidence," he continued. "I saw them play pretty well against Dundee last week when they were unfortunate to lose so we've had them watched."

The Buddies have a real doubt over skipper Steven Thompson [groin] and James Marwood [knee] is already sidelined.
