Dundee United Reward Cup Supporters

After losing 5-0 and 5-1 in both of their matches in 2007, Dundee United are obviously concerned that there may be a low attendance at the St Mirren cup match on Tuesday night.

Mid-week evening matches never get great attendances at the best of times, but after losing 5-1 to Falkirk on New Years day and 5-0 to Rangers at the weekend, it's unlikely that many Dundee United supporters are falling over themselves to watch the re-scheduled Scottish Cup tie.

Especially since season tickets aren't valid for the match - unless supporters paid extra for the 'Cup Top-Up vouchers' when buying their season ticket, in which case voucher 2 (along with the season ticket book) must be present at the usual turnstile.

Unfortunately, Dundee United can't really reduced prices, because both teams share the admission money for Scottish Cup matches - instead the club have come up with another way of rewarding fans would bear the elements to attend the 7:45pm kick-off.

Dundee United supporters who turn up at the match will receive a 'Rewards Voucher' which entitles them to £10 off their 2007/08 season ticket or £5 off the gate price at United's next home match against Dunfermline on the 27th of January.

Admission prices for the rearranged Saint Mirren cup clash are £19/£21 for adults, £9/£11 for concessions (Under-18s and over-60s).
