Craig Levein was happy with the confidence his side showed to go forward in the last 10 minutes of the Scottish Cup tie against Saint Mirren, but youngster David Robertson admitted he wasn't that confident about the way things were going.
Robertson scored with almost the last kick of the game to give Dundee United a deserved 3-2 over Gus MacPherson's side, after receiving a pass from Craig Conway just 8-yards from goal.
However, at first the youngster wasn't sure if he'd scored or not, because he was sure Tony Bullock had got a hand to his right-footed shot.
"When they got it back to 2-2 I thought 'Here we go again' and that we were in for a few hard words from the manager in the changing room, but we dug out a winner," Robertson told the Courier.
"I'd no idea how late it was when I scored and when I ran away to celebrate I suddenly thought 'oh no it's not gone in', that Tony Bullock had got a hand to it. But thankfully he hadn't."
Robertson has made 17 appearances from Dundee United already this season - including the League Cup match against Airdie, when he scored an extra-time goal for United, to win the match 1-0.
He has also netted twice in the SPL this season, including in the 3-1 win over Caley Thistle at Tannadice and a 17th minute open against Celtic in the 2-2 draw on Boxing Day.
"It was great to score the winner against Airdrie but this one meant more after the last couple of league results."
