Defender extends deal

Defender extends deal

Dundee United defender William Edjenguele has signed a two-year extension at Tannadice.

The 29-year-old Frenchman has made twenty-six appearances and scored twice since joining from Greek Super League outfit Veria in August.

"I have been talking to the manager and the chairman for a few months about a new deal," Edjenguele told United's official website. "I have to thank the Chairman because he made a real effort to keep me here.

"It is a massive Club with tremendous support, and the team plays the type of football I want to play," he added. "I also want to play my part in taking the Club back into the top flight."
