Dundee United v Falkirk

Dundee United host Falkirk this evening in their play-off semi-final first-leg at Tannadice.

The Tangerines are currently unbeaten in eight games following their quarter-final success against Greenock Morton.

Midfielder Willo Flood has recovered from a thigh injury and is therefore available for selection, while Scott Fraser also returned to action as a late substitute in the previous round after a couple of months on the sidelines.

"We wanted to win the league at the start of the season and, once that was out of our hands, we wanted to finish second and it was a big disappointment not to finish second," skipper Sean Dillon admitted to BBC Scotland. "Thankfully, we have managed to pick ourselves up and we're looking at the positive side of it.

"And the positive side of it is that we got two wins and scored five goals," he added. "So there's definitely positives to take from the fact we finished third."

Falkirk are without former United centre-back David McCracken while forward Myles Hippolyte returns from suspension.
