Newcomer expects strong partnership

Newcomer Billy King reckons Dundee United supporters could witness a really successful partnership when he links up again with former Hearts colleague James Keatings at Tannadice.

The pair already know each other well having previously spent time together at Tynecastle, and will be looking to continue their profitable working union over the coming months as their new club chase a top-flight return.

"James is a great player. He had a good spell at Hearts over the winter period and we linked up really well," King told the Dundee Evening Telegraph. "He's a great finisher, got a lovely left foot and, if you give him service, he'll score goals.

"He`s a top player and I'll be looking to work well with him again, we had a good relationship at Hearts and we understand each other," he added. "United fans can look forward to that again if I can give him the service and we both get our match sharpness. It could be a good partnership."
