United sign midfielder

Dundee United have signed Hibernian midfielder Fraser Fyvie on an initial one-year deal.

The 24-year-old was part of the Hibs squad that won the Championship title last season having begun his career with Aberdeen. He's also spent time at Wigan Athletic, with accompanying loans for Yeovil Town and Shrewsbury Town.

"I am happy to secure a deal at a Club like United," Fyvie told United's official website. "When I spoke to the manager, he convinced me that this was the place to be for the next stage of my career.

"I am sure United fans will remember me from playing against them for Hibs and previously Aberdeen, but I am looking forward to showing them my ability and helping secure promotion for United."
