Dundee United v Queen of the South

Dundee United return to league action with a visit from Queen of the South on Saturday.

The Tangerines are without new skipper Tam Scobbie, who unfortunately tore a groin muscle early in their disappointing midweek League Cup defeat at rivals Dundee.

"Tam has done his groin. We will need to see the extent. It could be a bad one," manager Ray McKinnon admitted to the Dundee Courier. "It usually takes 24 hours to assess but he's in a lot of pain."

That could witness young left-back Jamie Robson coming back into the side having replaced him inside twenty minutes at Dens Park.

For the visitors, Stephen Dobbie and Alan Martin both return to the squad and are therefore available alongside newcomers Chris Kane and Jason Kerr.
