Striker ready to take opportunity

Striker ready to take opportunity

Striker Patrick N'Koyi is ready to take his chance following his two goals against Cowdenbeath.

The Congolese-Dutchman has experienced a frustrating time after being sidelined with a muscle injury having earlier appeared in the Betfred Cup ties against Raith Rovers and Buckie Thistle.

"It was great to get my first two goals for the club," N'Koyi told the Dundee Courier. "We didn't play so good in the first half but the second was a little bit better.

"With the injury and not scoring it has been frustrating for me but I hope with that match and that win behind me that I can move forward now," he added. "It was good for my confidence and for the other guys who have not been playing so much."
