United hopeful over midfielder

United hopeful over midfielder

Dundee United remain hopeful that midfielder Scott Fraser's foot injury isn't too serious.

The 22-year-old limped out of the latest victory against Brechin City on Saturday after feeling more discomfort in the metatarsal that has troubled him for much of the year.

"Scott felt a click in his foot and had to come off so we will need to have a look at it again," manager Ray McKinnon told the Dundee Courier. "We are just hoping it is nothing too serious, just a bit of movement in his foot.

"Something similar happened during pre-season and he was back in a day or so," he added. "Hopefully, it's the same this time."
