Dundee United v Alloa Athletic

Holders Dundee United are hosting Alloa Athletic in the Irn Bru Challenge Cup this afternoon.

Manager Ray McKinnon was expected to field a mixed side containing youngsters and a few senior performers.

United will be looking for an immediate response after their disappointing 3-0 league defeat at St Mirren last week.

However, they've already accounted for Cowdenbeath 2-0 in the first round of the competition through striker Patrick N'Koyi's second-half brace.
