Holders at home again

Holders Dundee United have received another home draw in the Scottish Challenge Cup.

The Tangerines, who defeated St Mirren in last season's final back in March, will take on Northern Irish side Linfield at Tannadice.

Elsewhere, Crusaders, are away to Highland League outfit Cove Rangers, with The New Saints tackling Elgin City and Falkirk meeting Dunfermline Athletic.

The remaining games witness Queen of the South travelling to Montrose, Inverness Caledonian Thistle welcoming Peterhead, Dumbarton challenging Stranraer and St Mirren facing Raith Rovers.

Third round ties are being played on the weekend of 7th-8th October.
