Striker in goal-hunt

Striker in goal-hunt

Striker Patrick N'Koyi is wanting to carry his recent goalscoring form in the Irn Bru Cup across into the Championship.

The 27-year-old has netted three times for his new club in the competition since arriving at Tannadice this summer.

He's already struck against both Cowdenbeath and more recently Alloa Athletic in the early rounds and intends to continue proving his value to the team.

"The gaffer took me to this team to score goals," N'Koyi told the Dundee Courier. "And that is what I want to show everyone I can do.

"I want to be valuable for United. It is very important to score goals," he added. "If I prove that I am a good player, automatically it is good for the whole squad and we all benefit."
