Midfielder wants change in approach

Midfielder wants change in approach

Midfielder Fraser Fyvie reckons a change in approach can get Dundee United back on the goalscoring trail.

The Tangerines played out a goalless draw with Falkirk at the weekend and have noticeably continued to struggle to find the target so far this season.

"I think there was a bit of a lack of quality in the final third," Fyvie admitted to the Dundee Evening Telegraph. "That probably hindered us a wee bit on Saturday, everybody watching could see that.

"We're getting there. I think we've got a lot better shape-wise but I think we could do a wee bit more in keeping the ball rather than rushing up the pitch as fast as we can," he added. "I don't think that's how we want to play. I think it's just that final ball."
