We are getting better - McKinnon

Manager Ray McKinnon says his Dundee United side are continuing to improve.

The Tangerines toppled leaders Dunfermline Athletic 3-1 at the weekend and are now back up to second in the table - and just a single point behind St Mirren.

"People forget we've been away to Inverness, St Mirren, Dunfermline and Falkirk in our first four away games and we're sitting second top," McKinnon told the Dundee Evening Telegraph. "We are improving, too.

"I've been saying that for weeks that we will improve — we've still got people like Scott Fraser, Tam Scobbie and Paul Quinn all to come back," he added. "We'll be in good shape moving forward."
