Dundee United v Linfield

Dundee United v Linfield

Holders Dundee United are involved in Irn-Bru Cup action this weekend when hosting Linfield at Tannadice.

Centre-back Paul Quinn has returned to training following a heart scare but wasn't expected to yet be recalled, while fellow defender Tam Scobbie remains sidelined with a calf muscle injury.

Midfielder Scott Fraser at least completed a full forty-five minutes for the Development side in midweek having not previously featured for almost a month.

Manager Ray McKinnon is likely to rotate his squad for the tie and that could witness the likes of striker Patrick N'Koyi starting.

Northern Irish Premiership visitors Linfield approach the contest having surrendered a two-goal advantage while losing 3-2 to Coleraine at the weekend.
