Scottish Sides Prop Up The Table

Dundee United still remain in 6th place in the SPL league table, after another £10 was won by supporters and added to the club's transfer budget in the Coca Cola 'Win A Player' promotion.

Nathan D (Dundee) is still the most successful 'named' United supporter by winning £5 for Dundee United, but its still nothing compared to some of the Leeds United fans - like Paul T (Leeds) who has so far raised a staggering £1,001 for his club.

Yesterday, Dundee United had £91 and was sitting 74th in the overall league table, but that whole £10 wasn't enough to boost the club further up the table and Levein's men still find themselves in 74th place - above Macclesfield Town, but below Port Vale.

Sadly, many of the Scottish sides are currently propping up the overall league table at the moment, but that could be to do with Scotland's other national drink.

Irn-Bru is one of the few soft drinks to challenge Coca Cola's supremacy in any country, and Scotland's football supporters might be continuing to drink the poplar Barr's concoction, rather than buy Coke to enter into the 'Win A Player' promotion.

If United supporters buy promotional Coca Cola bottles and multi-packs, they can continue to add to that transfer budget, by texting the unique code into 80094.

Odd table and hard to work out why certain clubs are where they are. But, as I've read elsewhere, don't you think it's unfair that SFL clubs aren't involved?
