Dundee United v St Mirren

Dundee United v St Mirren

Dundee United have a big opportunity this weekend when hosting leaders St Mirren at Tannadice.

A victory for the hosts would put them level in the table with their latest opponents.

The Tangerines are boosted by former Hibernian midfielder Fraser Fyvie being declared available having narrowly missed out last weekend.

However, fellow schemer Jordie Briels and defender Lewis Toshney remain sidelined.

"Fraser's rejoined training this week and looks back to his old self," caretaker manager Laurie Ellis confirmed to the Dundee Evening Telegraph. "He was close last week, he gave it his best and we appreciated that.

"It's a strong group of players," he added. "Apart from the two missing, we've got good competition in every area of the park."
