Boss wants better focus

Boss wants better focus

New manager Csaba Laszlo admitted his Dundee United side weren't focused enough at the weekend.

The Championship leaders were held to a 1-1 draw by struggling Brechin City at Glebe Park - and could even have come away with nothing as their lowly opponents grew ever-stronger during the second-half.

"I am just also disappointed because a lot of fans were up here to see the team and support the team and they went back with the pain and the truth that we lost two points," Laszlo reflected to the Dundee Evening Telegraph. "We are disappointed. Somehow after so much control and so many chances the players were on the bus thinking 'oh my goodness we have lost two points'.

"This is painful but, in football, you have to work so hard for the victory and must be focused and I think in the second half we were not focused enough."
