Falkirk v Dundee United

Falkirk v Dundee United

Dundee United hope to continue applying pressure on the leaders when visiting Falkirk this weekend.

The Tangerines have significantly added to their options over the past few days with a trio of new signings arriving at Tannadice.

Danish 6' 3" striker Emil Sigvardsen Lyng has joined until the end of the season, while defender Brandon Mason [Watford] and midfielder Craig Slater [Colchester United] both come in on loan for a similar duration.

All three newcomers could be involved at Falkirk on Saturday, when United aim to close a three-point gap on current table-toppers St Mirren, who are simultaneously at home to Inverness Caledonian Thistle. The Taysiders also have a single game in hand.

Midfield duo Scott Fraser [fractured foot] and Fraser Fyvie [cruciate ligaments] were recently both ruled out for the rest of the season.

The Bairns appear set to be without Myles Hippolyte and Tony Gallacher, but Joe McKee returns to their squad.
