Livingston v Dundee United

Dundee United face a traditional real 'six-pointer' when visiting fellow promotion hopefuls Livingston this evening (kick-off 7.35pm).

The Tangerines exited the Scottish Cup in their most recent display following a 4-2 defeat at Aberdeen.

However, they now have a trio of crucial league fixtures over the next week, with Queen Of The South and current leaders St Mirren also lined-up at Tannadice.

Newcomer Grant Gillespie was expected to return into his regular midfield role, while Paul McMullan and Scott McDonald are pushing for inclusion having performed well from the bench.

Otherwise, midfielder Jordie Briels and defensive duo William Edjenguele and Paul Quinn are well on their way back from injury.

The third-placed visitors currently trail their opponents by three points but with a couple of games in hand.
