More Injury Worries For Craig Levein
Dundee United will have a clearer idea about the seriousness of Stuart Duff's injury, after the player is checked over by medical staff today.
Duff was part of the side which lost 2-0 to the Motherwell reserves at Station Park yesterday, but had to be taken off with a knee injury after a high challenge resulted in him being kicked on the side of his knee.
The Aberdeen born midfielder turned 25 last month and his last appearance for United was when he came on as a substitute for Collin Samuel in the 74th minute of the 1-0 Scottish Cup final defeat by Caley Thistle.
Craig Levein wanted defender Lee Mair to use the match as an opportunity to aid his recovery from a knee injury that has kept him out for United's 1st team for a few weeks now.
Whilst Garry Kenneth, Jon Daly and Morgaro Gomis were also due to play some part in the game.
Greg Cameron(hamstring) and Steven Robb(achilles) are Craig Levein's only other injury worries, but with no match this weekend, it gives the whole squad a chance to shake off any niggles picked up in recent weeks.
"Greg is still a couple of weeks away from a return," admitted Levein.
