Mark Wilson has apparently agreed terms with Celtic and has passed a medical in Glasgow. He is all set to move as soon as a transfer fee is agreed.
The quoted release clause of £500k is not actually the case, but simply a figure that would allow him to talk to other clubs which he has done.
Eddie Thompson is reportedly willing to release Wilson for the right price, in order to help cover the costs in the change in management at the club.
