Every match, even a meaningless friendly, seems to be causing Dundee United more and more problems - as the injuries continue to mount up.
Against Airdrie it was goalkeeper Lukasz Zaluska - who was ruled out for upto 6 weeks with a broken bone in his foot.
Against Barcelona, it was Mark Kerr - who tore a calf muscle and is also out for around 6 weeks.
Now, captain Barry Robson might miss the start of the SPL campaign against Aberdeen on Saturday with a suspected broken nose.
This latest injury blow means that Dundee United manager Craig Levein is quickly running out of 1st team players to choose from, when picking his starting line-up for the opening match of the 2007/08 season.
Captain Barry Robson was hit in the face by a shot from a Livingston trialist around 20minutes into the friendly at Almondvale and had to be replaced by substitute Prince Bauben.
It`s probably Thierry Henry`s fault that Robson has suffered any injury, he has jinxed the United captain by heaping on so much praise after the 1-0 defeat to Barcelona last Thursday night.
"The captain of Dundee United had a good touch," admitted Henry to the Courier after scoring the winning goal in Barca`s 1-0 win.
"I don`t know for sure that he is Scottish, but I think he is. He had good ability on the ball."
"Dundee United gave us a very good game, but I was not surprised."
"All British teams have commitment and I have seen a lot of players in my time who were more than skilful."
"You always think people from abroad who come in are better than what you have, but I think you should praise your guys."
On a more positive note, Dundee United eventually beat Livingston 1-0 after an own goal from Dave MacKay, after he headed a Steven Robb cross into the back of his own net.
