Mulgrew To Miss Celtic Game

Mulgrew To Miss Celtic Game

Charlie Mulgrew will not be eligeble to play for Dundee United when they visit Celtic Park on Saturday.

Gordon Strachan has acknowledged the young full-backs performances for United in the last couple of weeks, and is to make moves to make sure that he won't face his own employers.

“I wouldn’t think that Charlie will be involved on Saturday, no,” Strachan told reporters.

“I’ll be speaking to Dundee United about that this week and I’d be surprised if there are any problems.

“There’s no doubt he’s doing well there. Charlie’s certainly a good player, but he needs some proper games at first team level and there are a few here who could do with the same just to nudge them along in their development.
