Dundee United manager Craig Levein won his 3rd Manager-Of-The-Month award at Tannadice, after leading the club into the Semi-Finals of the League Cup and winning all 3 SPL matches to get into the top 3 of the league table.
Hard fought home wins over Motherwell(3-1), Rangers(2-1) and a 3-1 away victory over Hearts at Tynecastle, put Dundee United on 22 points - joint with 2nd place Rangers.
The month also ended with an impressive 3-1 League Cup win over Hamilton, the on-form side who have been flying high at the top of the 1st division in recent months.
"I always think that any individual awards are a reflection on what everybody has been doing at the club and the form of the team," Levein told the BBC.
'They have had a very good month and I accept this award on their behalf.'
Defender Lee Wilkie was also rewarded for his performances, after picking up the Player-Of-The-Month award.
Wilkie was influential in all 4 wins, and also grabbed the opening goal against Rangers at Tannadice, infront of a large home support and the live Setanta cameras.
