Scotland Supporters Plan Trip To Amsterdam

Scotland supporters are set to invade Amsterdam, after Scotland and the Netherlands were drawn to play against each other in the World Cup 2010 qualifying campaign.

The last time the 2 countries met was in 2003, during the play-off match for the 2004 European Championships.

Scotland pulled off a shock victory in the 1st leg of the play-off at Hampden Park, after a 22minute James McFadden goal gave them a 1-0 win.

However, a Ruud van Nistelrooy hat-trick secured the Netherlands a place in the 2004 Championships, after they showed their true class during a 6-0 win in Amsterdam.

Scotland and the Netherlands will also Norway, FYR Macedonia, Iceland in Group 9 - the only group with 5 teams, but only 1 is guaranteed to progress to the final stages of the World Cup.

Meanwhile, England are set to face Croatia again, after the same country prevented them from progressing to the final stages of the 2008 European Championships.
