Dundee United have selection problems for their Co-operative Insurance Cup third round tie at Ross County on Wednesday evening. Manager Peter Houston is already without long-term casualties Mihael Kovacevic and Danny Swanson, and the pair could now be joined on the sidelines by up to three more players. The Arabs will be aiming to bounce back immediately from their weekend four-goal defeat at defending Scottish Premier League champions Rangers against the club they famously overcame in the Scottish Cup final last May.
Opponents Ross County recorded their first home league win of the season against Stirling Albion at the weekend, with Gary Wood scoring twice in a 3-1 success, and have already seen off both Livingston and St Mirren in previous rounds of the competition.
"Conway is really struggling," Arabs boss Peter Houston told The Courier. "Douglas and Kenneth will both miss Wednesday's game and the weekend league match against St Johnstone. However, David Goodwillie trained today despite picking up a knock at Ibrox, David Robertson should be okay, while Danny Cadamarteri is fully fit again after recovering from a couple of knocks. We had a good training session and there is loads of stuff we will be going through on Tuesday with regards to the match against Ross County."
Ross County are without the suspended Michael Gardyne, while fellow strikers Steven Craig and Andrew Barrowman are also missing due to injury.

Two goals at the weekend to earn his side their first home league win of the season.
Defenders Barry Douglas (ankle ligaments) and Garry Kenneth (calf) both limped out of the action in the defeat at Ibrox and are already expected to miss the game in Dingwall. Meanwhile, Craig Conway is currently struggling with a medial ligament strain and is considered very doubtful after also missing out at Rangers on Saturday.

Will be looking to get back on the mark and send the Arabs safely into the next round.
