Motherwell vs. Dundee United

Fir Park

Sat 23rd Oct

Motherwell v Dundee United

The Arabs will be looking to immediately bounce back after last weekend's heartbreaking late defeat to Celtic when travelling to Motherwell's Fir Park. It's the first of two successive visits there for Peter Houston's side, who must repeat the journey in the Co-operative Insurance Cup next Tuesday.

Vital Quotes:

"Perhaps I`m biased but in my opinion this is the best game on the card tomorrow," manager Craig Brown told Motherwell's official website. "It`s two teams who like to play football; two teams who are in reasonably good form and if you are a neutral and had to pick a game to watch I would think you would pick this one. Dundee United played extremely well last week, as they always do - and we played extremely well last week too, although the result didn`t reflect that. Motherwell versus Dundee United on Saturday could be a classic."

"Craig [Brown] and Archie [Knox] have done a great job" Arabs boss Peter Houston told the Daily Record. "Their signings have done really well for them and, for me, Motherwell are one of the form teams in the league, so we know it's going to be a test."

Motherwell Team News:

Motherwell welcome back midfielder Marc Fitzpatrick from a recent knee injury, but Esteban Casagolda is still out for another couple of weeks after having surgery on a similar problem.
