Kilmarnock 1 Dundee United 2

It's now back-to-back league victories for Dundee United after David Goodwillie and Jon Daly were both on target at ten-man Kilmarnock.

Scottish under-21 international Goodwillie fired the visitors ahead on fifteen minutes when his deflected effort beat home goalkeeper Cammy Bell.

Skipper Daly then added a second with just over twenty minutes remaining before Kilmarnock had defender Frazer Wright dismissed for a second bookable offence.

Connor Sammon did claim a late consolation deep into added time for the home side, but it wasn't enough to deny their opponents fourth place in the table.

Scott Severin had earlier gone close for them with a fourth-minute header before blocking from David Silva at the opposite end.

Kilmarnock keeper Bell then held a Prince Buaben free-kick before opposite number Dusan Pernis clutched onto Danny Invincibile's firmly driven effort.

But Goodwillie sent a deflected shot over Bell to earn the visitors the lead, although Sammon (twice) and Alexei Eremenko both threatened a response before Pernis saved well from Silva.

David Robertson headed wide for the Arabs after the interval and Silva, Manual Pascali, Eremenko and Craig Bryson each tried their luck in reply.

However, Daly seized upon Severin's knock down from Paul Dixon's corner to increase the visitors lead, which was ultimately to prove crucial when Sammon scrambled a late consolation after Wright had already been dismissed.
