Late goal decisive
Wed 13th Aug 7.45pm
Substitute Mario Bilate scored the only goal as Dundee United continue to top the table following a 1-0 victory against Motherwell.
Summer recruit Bilate drove in the decisive winner from around 25-yards with only seven minutes remaining at Tannadice.
Josh Law directed an early attempt onto the crossbar for the visitors while Nadir Ciftci and John Rankin tried replies without ever troubling goalkeeper Dan Twardzik.
Striker Ciftci also had an effort charged down following the interval and Paul Paton lifted over from close-range as the hosts continued to search for a way through.
That finally arrived courtesy of Bilate's fierce strike from outside the area on 83 minutes - although the visitors' Craig Reid then saw his late injury-time shot deflected wide.
