Dundee United 1 Falkirk 1
Sat 8th Apr 3.00pm
Dundee United were held to a 1-1 draw by promotion rivals Falkirk at Tannadice.
Striker Simon Murray chased away to finish past Robbie Thomson for an early second-half lead, although that was later cancelled out by Luke Leahy.
The Tangerines awarded a debut to teenage midfielder Scott Allardice, but it was Murray poking wide during the opening exchanges and also heading a Willo Flood free-kick towards keeper Thomson.
John Baird had a couple of attempts at the other end, while Cammy Bell denied Robert McHugh before United's on loan forward Tony Andreu headed wide Blair Spittal's cross.
Peter Grant also twice threatened for the visitors ahead of the interval, until Murray broke away to register the opening goal soon after the break.
Goalscorer Murray immediately sent another effort onto the far upright before William Edjenguele headed at Thomson from a corner delivered by Andreu, who also twice went close to increasing the home advantage.
But Leahy headed in substitute James Craigen's free-kick to equalise for the visitors with just seven minutes remaining.
The Bairns could then have snatched it when fellow replacement Scott Shepherd struck an upright from close-range after another substitute, Nathan Austin, had already been thwarted by Bell.
