Kilmarnock 2 - Dundee Utd 1

Utd beaten by late goal

Another game, another defeat for Dundee United as their miserable season continues.

United did manage a victory last week against Dunfermline but they were brought back down to earth by Kilmarnock this week.

They can consider themselves to be unlucky however as they were 1-1 going in the final minute until Killie striker Gary Wales popped up to grab a winner for the Ayrshire side.

It was Kilmarnock who took the lead in this game when Gary McDonald scored in the 38th minute but United got an equaliser in the second half when Colin Samuel scored in the 51st minute.

Gary Wales striker in the dying seconds though won all three points for Kilmarnock and sent United back to Tayside on a low.

Star Player

Kilmarnock youngster Steven Naismith

Manager Rating

Gordon Chisholm 4/10 - Running out of time.

Opponent Rating

Jim Jeffries 8/10 - Doing a great job at Killie.
